Sophie's Puppies 2009
Sophie
was mated with Myriehewe Galileo during the Easter holidays. The mating was good and all was well until about 11 days
before she was due to give birth. Sophie went into labour.
Over the next three days she gave birth to three pups naturally,
all of whom died and then had an emergency cearsarian producing another four pups.
Sadly, we lost two of those as
well, we nearly lost Sophie. We had to hand rear the remaining two whilst their mum recovered from being in labour for three days
and the operation.
Ten days later she was better and the two little boys started to gain weight, we had turned the corner.
We kept Jack, Jaysur Jumping Jack Flash and his brother when to live with his aunty not far away.
